CAMPS & CLINICS

HIGH PERFORMANCE // 3-day CAMPS AND CLINICS

The DBX High Performance Camps and Clinics provide an excellent opportunity for players at various levels to improve their skill set.

Each player is placed in skill groups according to age, skill level and experience, with the opportunity to move up as their skills progress. Our High Performance Camps and Clinics is designed for experienced players between ages 15 to 25 years old.

Players will develop a foundation for playing strong, smart basketball through specially-designed activities, competitions, and game situations that help build solid habits that lead to successful game-time performance. During the sessions players will learn new ways to control their body and keep it in balance, improve ball handling. They will learn, not only how to beat their defender, but how to become a great defender, as well. Players will learn the various ways to conduct themselves as mature and dedicated athletes, both on and off the court.

DBX High Performance Camps and Clinics is NOT for every player. Are you willing to get up early? Are willing to put in long and intensive days? Are you willing to spend time pushing yourself to the outer limits of your comfort zone? Many players aren’t willing to that approach. Since we only have a limited number of spots available in each session, we prefer to accept only players who are willing to take full advantage of their time with us.

BBALL FUNDAMENTALS // 3-day CAMPS AND CLINICS

The fundamentals of basketball are the foundation for every individual player, offensive or defensive strategy, and every move that players make. The best players have perfected the basics of the game. Learning and mastering these basics make the rest of the game much easier!

The DBX BBall Fundamentals Camps and Clinics provide an excellent opportunity for young players from beginners to advanced levels to develop and refine skills such as shooting, passing, footwork & balance and ball-handling. Our BBall Fundamentals Camps and Clinics is designed for players between ages 4 to 14 years old.

DBX focuses on getting the earliest player comfortable on the court while improving basic motor skills such as jumping, running and sliding. For the older players, DBX offers the chance to apply the skills they’ve learned towards timed games. Each player is placed in skill groups according to age, skill level and experience, with the opportunity to move up as their skills progress.

DBX BBall Fundamentals Camps and Clinics is for everyone who wants to learn about basketball, play the game and improve their skill set having fun with it!

Campers should wear basketball attire to camp. This includes sneakers, shorts and a t-shirt or jersey. Optional is to bring your own ball. Do NOT bring any jewelry, valuables or loose cash. Mobile phones should be kept in the campers sport bag and only used in case of emergencies or during breaks.

WHO TEACHES THE CAMPERS?

DBX prides itself on having the #1 basketball staff in Amsterdam. The staff is made up of (ex) professional players, guest current/former college coaches and guest current/former college players. Everyone on our staff has extensive knowledge of the game of basketball as well as experience teaching and coaching kids.

CAN I / MY CHILD ATTEND LESS THAN 3 DAYS?

No, our camps are designed to function on a 3 day basis with each camp having a unique agenda.
